In the aftermath of COVID-19 and a turning point in personal life, Priiyya Upadhyay, a B.Pharm graduate with an MBA in International Business, alongside her husband Sourabh Dwivedi, embarked on a transformative journey into the world of healthcare. What began as a desire to utilize time productively after marriage evolved into a profound mission — delivering quality healthcare to the masses.
The duo launched Central Pharma, a retail and wholesale pharmacy, during the uncertain times that followed the pandemic lockdown. Within just three months of operations, the business gained significant traction by becoming the first vendor for a leading online pharmacy platform in Noida, managing seamless medicine delivery across the city.
Expanding the Vision: Beyond Pharmacy
Recognizing a growing need for institutional healthcare supply, Priiyya and Sourabh extended their services beyond retail. Central Pharma quickly began catering to hospitals, colleges, medical camps, and large-scale project sites. With a strong foundation in pharmaceutical distribution, they also introduced their proprietary brand — Enterobac, a probiotic supplement aimed at improving gut health.
But their journey did not stop at commerce. With a shared belief that healthcare is a basic human right, the founders took a bold leap toward philanthropy by establishing the Central Care Foundation.
Central Care Foundation: Bridging Healthcare Gaps
Located in Central Noida, Central Care Foundation is more than a clinic — it’s a comprehensive care ecosystem. The foundation’s clinic brings together specialists in orthopedics, general medicine, neurology, and more, providing expert consultations to
underprivileged communities. Notably, OPD services for individuals under the BPL (Below Poverty Line) category are offered completely free of cost, along with substantial discounts on medicines, diagnostic tests, and treatments.
One of the foundation’s key initiatives includes cancer awareness and early detection programs. With regular mammography, cervical cancer, and oral cancer screenings, the foundation has reached hundreds of lives in need of awareness and timely care.
Over time, the foundation has organized more than 6000+ free health screenings, focused on:
- Breast cancer (mammography)
- Cervical cancer
- Oral cancer
These camps aim to promote early detection and awareness, particularly among underprivileged communities who often lack access to preventive care.
