The primary challenge faced by career oriented and married Muslim Women is that of balancing their homes and careers. Arjumand, having mastered this phase of life, is focused on guiding them through her knowledge and experience.
In addition, Arjumand, also seeks to inspire and impact college-going Muslim girls/women who are at a crossroads, torn between career aspirations and societal pressure to marry early. Arjumand mentors and coaches them, providing guidance to navigate through these dilemmas and achieve their goals.
Furthermore, she aspires to reach out to the Reverts who often seek a sense of belonging after embracing Islam, as they may face isolation from their families. Arjumand’s community aims to provide them with a sisterhood that welcomes, supports, and helps them in their spiritual journey.
Arjumand Abdullah firmly believes that the key to resolving these challenges lies in strengthening the Connection with the Creator. Drawing an analogy to a building’s strength with a solid foundation. She firmly believes that a robust connection with Allah can empower Muslim women to navigate through life’s complexities with grace and confidence.
With a BA (Hons) in International Business Administration from Bournemouth University, UK, and an MBA in Finance and E-Commerce from City University of New York, USA, Arjumand possesses a strong educational background. Her experience of 15 years as a Teacher of the Word for Word Translation of the Quran (WQTC), along with her role as a Student/Teacher of the Quran at the AHI Academy for Women of 19 years has nurtured her deep understanding of Islamic teachings. Furthermore, her personal experiences and interactions with Muslim women from all walks of life have given her valuable insights into the challenges faced by Muslim women in various fields
