11 Appointments, 25 Shortlists: Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation’s Record Performance at Alva’s Pragati 2026
The numbers behind the Foundation’s strong showing at India’s largest placement drive.

The final numbers are in: as Alva’s Pragati 2026, India’s largest placement drive, concluded on the evening of August 8, 2026, Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation had extended 11 on-spot job appointments and shortlisted 25 candidates for further consideration — one of the strongest showings among participating organisations.
The eleven on-spot appointees received their tentative appointment letters directly from Mr. Gunesh Bharathiya, Founder Chairman of Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation, and Ms. Sri Anagha KR, of the Foundation’s Advisory Council, in a ceremony held on the drive premises.
The occasion also marked a personal milestone for Mr. Gunesh Bharathiya, an alumnus of Alva’s Education Foundation who completed his pre-university and degree education there. Faculty members and deans from Alva’s pre-university and degree colleges, together with Honourable Chairperson Dr. Mohan Alva and Managing Trustee Mr. Vivek Alva, welcomed his homecoming with evident enthusiasm.
Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation attributes this performance to its ongoing focus on soft skills development and institutional training, which it says helps prepare candidates for exactly this kind of opportunity.
