The 29-year-old Philadelphia native appeared as an aspiring actor in Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series “The Politician” and “Hollywood,” and most recently as a theater owner who gets caught up with Mia Goth’s aspiring actress in Ti West’s “Pearl.”
Brosnahan is the more well-known of the two, having just finished a five-season stint as the lead in “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Her performance as Midge Maisel garnered her an Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations. Emma Mackey and Phoebe Dynevor were apparently also auditioning for the role of Lois Lane.
